Charlie founded the Müll Club from her home in Brockley, South London during the 2020 pandemic. Müll is the German word for 'rubbish (and Charlie also loves the smiley face an umlaut ü provides). Charlie founded Müll with the mission to revolutionise the recycling industry in the UK one yoghurt pot at a time, by actively diverting plastic waste from landfill, incineration, or being sent overseas. Charlie and her team collect and recycle plastic waste collected directly from their local communities and transform it into practical, sustainable and beautiful homeware pieces.
Each dish is made in Margate using Müll’s low-carbon, closed-loop production process. The marbled finish makes every piece completely unique. The weight of each soap dish is equivalent to £1,420 worth of bank notes. This is recycling like you’ve never seen it before. Bold, practical, and one of a kind.
