Retro style French ceramic match strike
These match strikes were popular during the late 19th and early 20th century in French bars and cafes.
The coloured, striated surface on the side of the cylinder was used to strike & light a match. Also can be used to hold a selection of items such as toothpicks, cocktail sticks etc. Or as a decorative ornament.
Please note this product does not come with matches. White tip or 'strike anywhere' matches are advised to use with this product as regular household matches will not light.
Measures (approx): 9cm height / 9.5cm diameter
