Òir (pronounced oar) is Gaelic for golden. Òir is a luxury handmade soap small company based in Scotland. Each bar is handmade in South Queensferry from nothing nasty - just a a blend of deeply moisturising oils - a mix cocoa butter, shea butter, olive oil, castor oil and coconut oil with a unique blend of essential oils. Clay or charcoal is added for colour, and that’s it. Òir are proud that the shea butter they use is sourced directly from a woman’s cooperative in Ghana. Each soap bar is made using the cold process method whereby they cure for four weeks - making this a beautiful slow, mindful and sustainable product.
