Hand knitted from 100% sheep wool
Wool is one of the most sustainable fabrics in existence; renewable and biodegradable, it requires relatively little water for its production. This wool is mulesing free.
Handmade by artisans within a World Fair Trade Organization certified collective in Kathmandu, Nepal. These mitts are made by women who knit the pieces at home, working around their family commitments. This provides them with an income to help their families. Urmila coordinates the team of women, training them to produce each style and distributing the yarn and materials.
